Traces of an Imaginary Affair - A design project by Bjorn Franke

Many relationships are emotional battlegrounds for all kinds of psychotic disorders and delusions, with partners often engaging in various forms of psychological torture. One of the strongest emotions between partners is the feeling of jealousy that is, according to the French LittrÈ, a feeling which is ‘born in love and which is produced by the fear that the loved person prefers someone else’.
This feeling is often intentionally instigated by women as well as men to change the behaviour of their partner. The resulting jealous behaviour may then improve one’s self-esteem or may be used to test the strength of the relationship.

The Traces of an Imaginary Affair project investigates this feeling through a kit containing a set of nine devices which leave traces of such an imaginary affair. The tools leave marks on the body such as bite marks, carpet burns, bondage marks, love bites, scratches and bruises. Probes of perfume, lipstick and hair can be applied to either the body or clothes.
The project examines the world of private psychological warfare within relationships, in which obsessive behaviour and disorders surface. Rather than offering the common approach of subjecting these to restrictive cultural norms, the kit enables people to exhibit them in a most effective way.

A VIRTUAL KHATAG FOR VISITORS ENTERING TIBETAccording to the Tibetan tradition, when one greets a Rinpoche or a monk/nun, one would offer a white Hada (or Khatag) which is a silk scarf. Presenting Hada (or Khatag) is traditional practice of respect and hospitality in Tibet, and will be appreciated by your host.
I am designing a virtual KHATAG. A vistor will receive a virtual KHATAG and greetings on his / her mobile phone when entering to Tibet. For example, Lasha.
for spirituality purpose:Most Tibetians go worship in different stages of lifes. Some need to travel for long time (month and years) to get to the temple. My purpose is to design a message system that Tibentian can txt their wish and send it to their wishing Temple. Lamas in the temple will print those wishes out and give it to the "Dalai Lama" which is the "god" in their system.

Andy has criticized my design ideas as "off-topic and are not appropriate given the design brief", "mundane and do not address the specific context of Tibet". I have been asked to re-address my design brief and to give 5 new ideas by next week.
Okay... Here are the two new ideas I've came up with:
1. A Mobile Dating system.
http://txt2click.ninemsn.com.au/2. A Voting system for entertainment purpose maybe? e.g. vote for you fav. singer.
3. Some kind of education game. I saw an intersting device in Kinokuniya Book Store today called "
INTELLIQUEST" which may be useful if I want to go with the education game idea.
